La cueva de La Lloseta ha sido investigada durante los últimos cien años por diferentes arqueólogos. Los trabajos realizados en los últimos tres años, dentro del proyecto de ocupación mesolítica y paleolítica del valle del río Sella, han revisado y sistematizado la información de aquellos primeros trabajos e iniciado un nuevo proceso investigador. Los primeros resultados muestran una secuencia de ocupación más amplia que iría desde el Solutrense hasta el Asturiense.
El presente artículo muestra los objetivos del proyecto y los primeros datos de las investigaciones en curso sobre la ocupación paleolítica y post-paleolítica de la cueva de La Lloseta que completa y complementa la información que, de estos periodos, teníamos en el valle del Sella y la costa cantábrica

La Lloseta cave has been investigated during the last hundred years by different archaeologists. The works carried out in the last three years, within the Mesolithic and Paleolithic occupation project of the Sella River Valley, have reviewed and systematized the information from those first works and started a new research process. The first results show a broader sequence of occupation that would go from the Solutrean to the Asturian. This article shows the objectives of the project and the first data from the ongoing research on the Paleolithic and post-Paleolithic occupation of the La Lloseta cave, which completes and complements the information that, from these periods, we had in the Sella Valley and the Cantabrian coast
