    Dentro del Arte Esquemático, las representaciones de los denominados ídolos han constituido un elemento fundamental para determinar la existencia de un ciclo artístico correspondiente al Neolítico Final/Calcolítico en la Península Ibérica, desde mediados del cuarto milenio hasta la primera mitad del III milenio cal BC. Este artículo se centra en describir los diferentes tipos de ídolos documentados, así como su variabilidad tipológica y características en cada uno de los territorios en los que están presentes, prestando una especial atención al sureste peninsular.

    Within Schquematic Art, representations of so-called idols have constituted a fundamental element to determine the existence of an artistic cycle corresponding to the Late Neolithic/ Chalcolithic in the Iberian Peninsula, between the second half of the 4th millennium and first half of the 3rd millennium cal Bc. This article focuses on describing the different types of idols documented, as well as their typological variability and characteristics in each of the territories is which they are present, paying special attention to the southeastern Iberian Peninsula.
