La configuración de la imagen turística de Ávila a través del cine

    Este artículo busca ofrecer alternativas al turismo cultural abulense a partir de la integración de los rodajes cinematográficos realizados en la ciudad y la provincia como parte del atractivo de los espacios que se ha apropiado el cine de ficción para construir las historias. Para ello se tiene en cuenta el estado de la cuestión y, especialmente, cómo se viene trabajando en otros lugares españoles el turismo inducido por el cine nacional e internacional, pues ya nadie duda que la imagen cinematográfica –en cualquiera de sus formatos– se ha incorporado al repertorio cultural de los ciudadanos a través de la identidad visual que se traslada del lugar que se muestra. Desde unos pocos planos hasta el rodaje de buena parte de una película permite disfrutar de entornos singulares y destacados de la ciudad y otros lugares abulenses, incidiendo especialmente en el relieve que pueden alcanzar estas imágenes en su proyección nacional e internacional. Se sugieren algunas iniciativas que pueden dar sentido a la estancia de los visitantes en Ávila y recorrer otros espacios provinciales

    This article seeks to offer alternatives to cultural tourism in Ávila by integrating the film shoots made in the city and the province as part of the attraction of the spaces that fiction cinema has appropriated to build the stories. To this end, the state of the question is taken into account and, especially, how tourism induced by national and international cinema has been working in other Spanish places, since nobody doubts that the cinematographic image –in any of its formats– has been incorporated into the cultural repertoire of the citizens through the visual identity that is transferred from the place being shown. From a few shots to the shooting of a good part of a film, it is possible to enjoy unique and outstanding environments of the city and other places in Ávila, with special emphasis on the relevance that these images can achieve in their national and international projection. We suggest some initiatives that can give meaning to the stay of visitors in Ávila as well as visit other places in the province.
