    La investigación tiene el propósito de analizar la relación entre expectativa y percepción estudiantil de la asesoría docente para la producción del conocimiento científico. Al considerar que la elaboración de saber valedero es uno de los eventos característicos de la formación universitaria, donde se consiente capacitar a los formando en las competencias que les permitan enfrentar junto a otros problemas comunes, se examinan las correlaciones que se establecen entre lo esperado y lo obtenido durante la conducción de la tesis. En tal sentido, se aboga por la coordinación de ambientes educativos que favorezcan la obtención de cuerpos teóricos fiables frente a las circunstancias que la realidad presenta. Se realiza un estudio de caso en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación en la Universidad César Vallejo de Perú. Las indagaciones se desarrollan desde el enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo y correlacional; de corte transversal. Se concluye que existe una codependencia positiva y significativa entre las expectativas y las percepciones de los estudiantes durante la dirección pedagógica.

    The research has the purpose of analyzing the relationship between expectation and student perception of teacher advice for the production of scientific knowledge. Considering that the development of valid knowledge is one of the characteristic events of university education, where it is allowed to train those in training in the competencies that allow them to face together with other common problems, the correlations established between what is expected and what is expected are examined. what was obtained during the conduction of the thesis. In this sense, it advocates the coordination of educational environments that favor the obtaining of reliable theoretical bodies in the face of the circumstances that reality presents. A case study is carried out at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the César Vallejo University of Peru. The inquiries are developed from the quantitative, descriptive and correlational approach; cross section. It is concluded that there is a positive and significant codependency between the expectations and the perceptions of the students during the pedagogical direction.
