El nomenclàtor dels carrers d’un poble o ciutat ens diu molt més que un simple nom, ja que en molts casos ens aporten informació afegida sobre les preguntes clau de qualsevol historiador: qui, quan, com i per què. A través de la documentació municipal de l’Arxiu «Clara Campoamor» ens disposem a aprofundir en l’anàlisi de l’evolució de la guia de carrers crevillentins des del segle XIX fins als nostres dies, majoritàriament modificat de manera paral·lela al període històric corresponent i en el que veiem també reflectits aspectes inherents a la història local.

The street names of a town or city tell us information on the key questions of any historian: who, when, how, and why. Through the municipal documentation of the “Clara Campoamor” Archive, we will delve into the analysis of the evolution of the Crevillentine street directory from the 19th century to the present day, mostly modified in parallel in the corresponding historical period and in which we also see aspects inherent to local history reflected.
