    This paper is part of the project Viure la mirada (Experiencing the gaze). It is a proposal for action originating in the classroom ˗developed in the assembly˗ and arising from the need to show what is being done in it. Presenting a work of art to the educational community every month requires, first of all, finding a space that will need to be transformed and turned into a conveniently organised resource. Walls, which are often underrated, are suggestive and close surfaces and not mere supports, but mediators in education, learning and socialisation. Space is not neutral. The challenge is how to convert walls into a space with their own identity so that they can accommodate the «Painting of the month» and thus become an educational space for communication and learning rich in interactions and which facilitates students’ development.

    Aquest treball forma part del projecte Viure la mirada. És una proposta d’acció que naix de l’aula –i es desenvolupa en l’assemblea– i de la necessitat de donar a conéixer el que es fa en ella. Presentar cada mes una obra d’art a la comunitat escolar necessita prèviament trobar un espai que haurem de transformar i convertir-lo en un recurs convenientment organitzat. Les parets a les quals se’ls dona poca importància són unes superfícies suggeridores i pròximes i no un mer suport sinó un mediador en l’educació, en l’aprenentatge i en la socialització. L’espai no és neutral. El problema consisteix en com reconvertir les parets en un espai amb identitat pròpia perquè puga acollir el «Quadre del mes» i d’aquesta manera transformar-se en un espai educatiu de comunicació i aprenentatge ric en interaccions i que facilite el desenvolupament de l’alumnat.
