    En los docentes de Informática de la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas "Manuel Ascunce Domenech" se revelan insuficiencias en la preparación para impartir la asignatura Aplicaciones Digitales Educativas I se imparte a los estudiantes de primer año de la carrera Educación Laboral e Informática. Por ello, el objetivo de este artículo es fundamentar didácticamente el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en el tratamiento de imágenes digitales en la carrera Educación Laboral e Informática.

    Computer teachers from "Manuel Ascunce Domenech" University of Pedagogical Sciences show some limitations in the training to teach the subject Educational Digital Applications I which is taught to first year students from the Informatics and Labor Education major; therefore, the objective of this paper is to give reasons about the didactics of the teaching-learning process related to the treatment of digital images in the Informatics and Labor Education major.
