Resumen de El médico, la familia y la comunidad en la atención del neonato de madres adolescentes

  La maternidad no es un rol para la etapa de la adolescencia. En muchas ocasiones a pesar del trabajo preventivo desarrollado en instituciones educativas y de salud en el país, continúa siendo un factor de riesgo en la población cubana. La atención integral del neonato de madre adolescente requiere de un trabajo cooperado entre el personal de salud, la familia y los factores de la comunidad que intervienen en la crianza del bebé. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo argumentar la influencia del médico general integral, la familia y los factores de la comunidad en la atención integral del neonato de las madres adolescentes.

  Maternity is not a role for the adolescent period. In spite of the preventive work that has been carried out in Cuban educational and health institutions, it continues being a risk factor in the population. The comprehensive attention of the mother and the neonate requires the cooperative work among the health personnel, the family and the social factors of the community that are present in the life of the newborn child. The main objective of the current paper is to give reasons about the influence of the general practitioner, the family, and the social factors of the community in the attention of the neonate and adolescent mothers.
