Resumen de State-space approach to a 2-D generalized thermoelastic medium under the effect of inclined load and gravity using a dual-phase-lag model

Mohamed I.A. Othman, Elsayed M. Abd-Elaziz, Mohamed I. M. Hila

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of inclined loads and gravitational field on a thermoelastic solid in the context of the dual-phase-lag model (DPL). The inclined load is assumed to be a linear combination of a normal load and a tangential load. The Laplace and Fourier transform technique is used to solve the problem. The displacements, the stresses, and the temperature distribution so obtained in the physical domain are computed numerically. The variations of these quantities have been depicted graphically in the dual-phase-lag model (DPL), Lord-Shulman (L-S) theory and coupled (CD) theory for an insulated boundary to show the effect of the gravity and angle of inclination in the medium.
