    En esta época inédita de la historia humana, la necesidad de reanudar y reforzar el lazo social se revela más vital que nunca. El virus co-vid-19 ha cambiado radicalmente nuestros modos de comunicar y relacionarnos, dejándonos cautivos en un mundo virtual sometido al discurso capitalista, en el que el cuerpo se sustituye por su imagen. Un discurso que incita al consumo sin límites, a la búsqueda frenética del objeto material que pueda llenar el vacío estructural del ser humano y, además, a la autoex-plotación aumentada por una vigilancia recíproca y multidimen-sional, sirviéndose de dispositivos digitales. La virtualización hace que la palabra se desligue del cuerpo que no se encuentra en el mismo espacio físico que el Otro con quien se habla; por lo tanto, hay un entre-dos que no puede acontecer sin una presencia física.

    Never before has the need to renew and strengthen social links been as vital as it is in this unprecedented era of human history. The covid-19 virus has drastically pushed us into new ways of communicating and relating to each other, captivating us in a virtual world, dominated by a capitalist discourse, where the body is replaced by its image. A discourse that entices unlimited consumption and consumerism, in-citing the subject to a frantic search for a material object designated to fill the structural void intrinsic to human existence and that also leads to self-exploitation enhanced by a mutual and multidimensional surveillance through digital devices. Communicating in a virtual world result in a dissociation between the speech and the body, when the bodies of the speakers are not physically present in the same space. Hence, there is an intermedi-ary realm that cannot occur without a shared physical presence.
