Resumen de Picris willkommii, endemismo del suroeste de la península ibérica amenazado por eliminación de los pastizales que constituyen su hábitat

  Se estudia la evolución espacio-temporal de poblaciones de Picris willkommii y de los terrenos conuso agrícola y pascícola tradicional que constituyen el hábitat principal de la especie en Ayamonte.De los resultados obtenidos en los trabajos de campo y el análisis diacrónico de mapas de usos ydocumentos históricos consultados, se deduce que en los últimos años se ha producido unareducción drástica y fragmentación de la superficie ocupada por estos agroecosistemas, sustituidospor edificaciones, infraestructuras y cultivos de regadío que pueden causar la extinción de la especie.

  We studied the spatio-temporal evolution of Picris willkommii populations and of the lands used foragriculture and traditional pascicola that constitute the main habitat of the species in Ayamonte.The results obtained in the field work and the diachronic analysis of land use maps and historicaldocuments consulted show that in recent years there has been a drastic reduction andfragmentation of the area occupied by these agroecosystems, replaced by buildings, infrastructureand irrigated crops that may lead to the extinction of the species.
