    En la capilla de Santa Lucía de la catedral de Palencia se halla un retablo que desde hace tiempo ha sido adjudicado al escultor Manuel Álvarez. En este estudio se propone la intervención del imaginero francés Juan Picardo en los relieves del Llanto sobre Cristo muerto y la Asunción, mediante el análisis y comparación estilística con otros trabajos del artista. Del mismo modo se atribuyen al maestro y su taller tres imágenes en Medina del Campo.

    In the Chapel of Santa Lucía in the Cathedral of Palencia there is an altarpiece that has long been awarded to the sculptor Manuel Álvarez. This study proposes the intervention of the French sculptor Juan Picardo in the reliefs of The Crying for the Dead Christ and The Assumption, through analysis and stylistic comparison with other works by the artist. In the same way, three images are attributed to the master and his workshop in Medina del Campo.
