Resumen de Posible Caso de Raquitismo Hallado en Entorno Conventual (Córdoba, España)

En este trabajo se presenta un posible caso de raquitismo en un esqueleto infantil procedente de contexto arqueológico hallado en la ciudad de Córdoba (Andalucía, España). El individuo muestra signos patológicos en cráneo y extremidades, destacando en ambos fémures engrosamiento y acampanamiento del tercio distal. Del mismo modo, se observa deformidad axial de tibias y peronés.

In this work, we present a possible case of rickets in an infant skeleton from archaeological context found in the city of Cordoba (Andalucia, Spain). The individual presents pathological signs in cranium and extremities, distinguishing a thickening with curvature and flaring of distal shaft of femur and, there is also a bending deformity in both tibiae and fibulae.
