Resumen de El juego tradicional del trompo en el Antiguo Egipto

El conocimiento de los orígenes y el desarrollo de los juegos a través de la historia y de la geografía, enaltecen y agrandan el respeto hacia otras culturas y pueblos y hacia la propia actividad físico-motriz. Diferentes investigadores egiptólogos nos han mostrado a lo largo de los años, una valiosa documentación mediante el descubrimiento de elementos lúdicos, a través de imágenes localizadas en tumbas o mastabas del Antiguo Egipto. Presentamos en este artículo, el juego tradicional del trompo, el cual ha quedado inmortalizado a través de varios hallazgos arqueológicos, y que actualmente se conservan en diferentes museos y colecciones particulares. Es evidente que estos descubrimientos, nos ayudan a comprender mejor muchos aspectos de la vida cotidiana en el antiguo Egipto desde un punto de vista lúdico.

The knowledge of the origins and development of games through history and geography enhance and increase respect for other cultures and peoples and for the physical-motor activity itself. Different Egyptian researchers have shown us, over the years, a valuable documentation through the discovery of playful elements, through images located in tombs or mastabas of Ancient Egypt. We present in this article, the traditional game of the spinning top, which has been immortalized through various archaeological findings, and which are currently kept in different museums and private collections. It is evident that these discoveries help us to better understand many aspects of daily life in ancient Egypt from a playful point of view.
