    En este trabajo me propongo analizar una nueva estrategia de control y normalización que se presenta en el mundo capitalista del siglo XXI: lo visual. La tesis que pretendo defender es que las imágenes configuran subjetividades. Es evidente que las nuevas tecnologías han multiplicado los accesos a las imágenes. Pero los avances de la técnica no sólo aumentan el acceso, sino que habilitan la producción, ya que cualquiera puede producir y difundir imágenes. Cada uno es “libre” de subir aquello que quiera. Pero, ¿no existe una cierta obligación social de siempre mostrarse en las redes? ¿y no hay, al mismo tiempo, ciertos modos uniformes y homogéneos de presentarse en ellas? Estas investigaciones se enmarcan en los aportes de la biopolítica, o lo que llamaré una “iconopolítica”.

    In this work I propose to analyze a new control and normalization strategy that is presented in the capitalist world of the 21st century: the visual. The thesis that I intend to defend is that images configure subjectivities. It is evident that new technologies have multiplied access to images. But advances in the technique not only increase access, they also enable production, since then anyone can produce and disseminate images.

    Everybody is "free" to upload whatever he or she wants. But, isn't there a certain social obligation to always show up on social media? And are there not, at the same time, certain uniform and homogeneous ways of presenting oneself in them? These investigations are framed in the contributions of biopolitics, or what I will call an “iconopolitics”
