    Un museo está conformado por su contenido y su continente, pero también por el personal que le insufla vida y es capaz de adaptarlo a cada momento histórico. Paloma Cabrera fue conservadora jefa del Departamento de Antigüedades Griegas y Romanas del Museo Arqueológico Nacional de 1992 a 2020, dejando una profunda estela en la manera de ver y pensar el mundo griego. A lo largo de este artículo haremos un recorrido por los criterios museográficos de las salas de Grecia del Museo Arqueológico Nacional hasta llegar al proyecto actual del cual Paloma Cabrera fue parte intelectual fundamental junto con Ángeles Castellano y Margarita Moreno. Un proyecto que supo unir identidad y ciudadanía, pasado y presente y una forma de mostrar la colección que ha impactado notablemente en el número de visitantes que acuden a sus salas.

    A museum is made up of its content and its continent, but also of the staff that breathes life into it and is adapting it to each historical moment. Paloma Cabrera was head curator of the Department of Greek and Roman Antiquities of the Museo Arqueológico Nacional of Spain from 1992 to 2020. She greatly influenced the way of seeing and thinking about the Greek world in Spain. Throughout this article we will take a tour of the museographic criteria of the Greek rooms of the Museo Arqueológico Nacional throughout history. Until arriving at the current project of which Paloma Cabrera was a fundamental intellectual part along with Ángeles Castellano and Margarita Moreno. A project that knew how to unite identity and citizenship, past and present. A way to show the collection that has had a positive impact on the number of visitors who come to see it.
