    El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue analizar jurídicamente las características y beneficios que posee la aplicación de la Ley Orgánica de Extinción de dominio en el ordenamiento jurídico ecuatoriano. Enfocado, desde el paradigma cuantitativo, se acopla dentro de los parámetros de tipo de investigación científica y análisis documental-bibliográfico de corte descriptiva, se manejó para este tipo de estudio, documentos, textos legales, investigaciones científicas mediante la recolección, selección y análisis de los mismo. El diseño bibliográfico-documental se apoyó en los procesos lógicos y mentales. Los investigadores organizaron un proceso investigativo en donde la población de estudio, se basó primordialmente en documentos escritos, para indagar los escritos con el objeto de estudiarlos y construir conclusiones. Se concluye, que esta figura es altamente beneficiosa para el Estado ecuatoriano, puesto que por sus características reforzaría enormemente la lucha contra delitos que atentan contra la administración pública como el peculado, enriquecimiento ilícito, cohecho.

    The general objective of this research was to legally analyze the characteristics and benefits of the application of the Organic Law of Extinction of domain in the Ecuadorian legal system. Focused, from the quantitative paradigm, it is coupled within the parameters of the type of scientific research and descriptive documentary-bibliographic analysis, it was handled for this type of study, documents, legal texts, scientific research through the collection, selection and analysis of The same. The bibliographic-documentary design relied on logical and mental processes. The researchers organized an investigative process in which the study population relied primarily on written documents, to investigate the writings in order to study them and build conclusions. It is concluded that this figure is highly beneficial for the Ecuadorian State, since due to its characteristics it would greatly strengthen the fight against crimes that threaten public administration such as embezzlement, illicit enrichment, bribery.
