    La pandemia a causa del Covid19, ha trastocado la actividad empresarial afectando su rentabilidad. En el contexto ecuatoriano, estas dificultades y desafíos han conllevado a las Pymes a tratar de aprovechar sus cualidades, para ser más flexibles y proactivas. En tal sentido, el objetivo fue realizar una revisión descriptiva de la literatura que permitiera identificar factores clave con el potencial de incidir en la sostenibilidad de las Pymes en Ecuador, ante estos escenarios adversos y críticos. Entonces, el artículo de revisión responde a una investigación teórico-descriptiva, documental. Se concluye, que las Pymes han de asumir una actitud emprendedora y resiliente, desplegar procesos innovadores replanificándose estratégicamente y transformarse digitalmente, mediante la tecnología y las redes sociales, si quieren reinventarse para darle sostenibilidad a sus modelos de negocios; en sí, para sobrevivir a la trama de nuevas realidades que se viven en este escenario adverso e incierto.

    The pandemic caused by Covid19 has disrupted business activity, affecting its profitability. In the Ecuadorian context, these difficulties and challenges have led SMEs to try to take advantage of their qualities, to be more flexible and proactive. In this sense, the objective was to carry out a descriptive review of the literature that would allow identifying key factors with the potential to influence the sustainability of SMEs in Ecuador, in the face of these adverse and critical scenarios. So, the review article responds to a theoretical-descriptive, documentary research. It is concluded that SMEs have to assume an entrepreneurial and resilient attitude, deploy innovative processes, strategically replanning themselves and transform themselves digitally, through technology and social networks, if they want to reinvent themselves to give sustainability to their business models; itself, to survive the web of new realities that are lived in this adverse and uncertain scenario.
