    This last lesson, delivered on 6 June 2019 at the University of Barcelona, is aboutIliad’s book XVI, traditionally called the Patrokleia. A number of exegetical problems found in it are discussed; among them, the motiv of the exchange of weapons, the meaning of the Greek termhetairosand the role of Patroklos as Achilleus’ double. Other questions that are also addressed:Why is the mistake of the Trojans, who initially confused Patroklos with Achilleus, so short-lived?What kind of psychological transformation does Patroklos undergo when he dons his companion’sweapons? Can the ancient popular motivof magical, invulnerable weapons ultimately be found atthe background of the story?

    Aquesta darrera lliçó, pronunciada el 6 de juny de 2019 a la Universitat de Barcelona, versasobre el llibre XVI de la Ilíada, l’anomenada Patroclia. En discuteix una sèrie de problemes inter-pretatius, com ara el motiu de l’intercanvi de les armes, el sentit del terme grec hetairosi la funció dePàtrocle com a doble d’Aquil·les. Altres qüestions que hi són també tractades: ¿Per què dura tan pocla confusió dels troians, que inicialment prenen Pàtrocle per Aquil·les? ¿Quina mena de transforma-ció anímica experimenta Pàtrocle, en el moment de revestir les armes del seu company? ¿En el rere-fons de la contalla, s’hi pot rastrejar el vell tema folklòric de les armes màgiques, invulnerables?
