    An unpublished inscription, now in a private collection, is studied here. It mentions an imperial freedman in charge of the wardrobe of an emperor with the task a veste munda.He dedicates a funerary altar to a young slave of the emperor, here called alumnus carissimus, who lived six years, nine months, four days and three hours.

    Si prende in esame un’iscrizione inedita, ora in una raccolta privata, che menziona un liberto imperiale addetto al guardaroba di un imperatore, con l’incarico a veste munda. Nell’epigrafe si ricorda anche un giovane schiavo dell’imperatore, chiamato alumnus carissimus, che visse sei anni, nove mesi, quattro giorni e tre ore.
