    Este trabajo se centrará en el territorio conocido hoy en día como el Campo de Montiel, susorígenes y el momento en el cual se consideró ésta región como propia, por otro lado, formamás particular, se hablará del Castillo La Estrella localizado en Montiel (Ciudad Real) y lasdiferentes actuaciones arqueológicas que se han llevado en él.
