Resumen de Gangrena de Fournier. Reporte de caso clínico.

La gangrena de Fournier es una patología de piel y tejidos blandos de causa polimicrobiana, con evolución poco favorable, si no se cuenta con un diagnóstico inmediato y tratamiento oportuno. Se presenta el caso de paciente masculino, sin factores de riesgo o antecedentes clínicos de importancia para desarrollar esta patología, que acude por cuadro de edema, dolor y úlcera en región perineal; recibió tratamiento farmacológico y quirúrgico, dentro de esta última limpieza quirúrgica de región afectada, cistostomía y colostomía. Con estancia hospitalaria prolongada de 49 días. 1 año después se cierra cistostomía y se reconstruye el tránsito intestinal, heridas cicatrizadas completamente.

Fournier’s gangrene is a pathology of the skin and soft tissues of polymicrobial cause, with unfavorable evolution, if there is no immediate diagnosis and timely treatment. The case of a male patient is presented, without risk factors or clinical history of importance to develop this pathology, who comes due to edema, pain and ulcer in the perineal region; received pharmacological and surgical treatment, within the latter surgical cleaning of the affected region, cystostomy and colostomy. With a prolonged hospital stay of 49 days. 1 year later, the cystostomy is closed and the intestinal transit is reconstructed, completely healed wounds.
