    El «correlacionismo» es conside-rado por los filósofos neorrealistas la forma esencial del antirrealismo en el pensamiento contemporáneo. El artículo se propone examinar el con-cepto de correlacionismo, indagar su consistencia y valorar su supuesta in-compatibilidad con toda forma de rea-lismo. Para ello se toma como campo de investigación la fenomenología, la corriente de pensamiento que de forma más explícita ha hecho uso de la idea de correlación en el siglo XX. Tras analizar el papel de la correla-ción fenomenológica en las posicio-nes de Husserl y Heidegger y señalar su carácter trascendental, se concluye que, especialmente en la fenomeno-logía hermenéutica heideggeriana, se abre la posibilidad de una postura realista y se rechazan algunas críticas provenientes del nuevo realismo.

    «Correlationism» is considered by neo-realist philosophers to be the essential form of anti-realism in contemporary thought. The article aims to examine the concept of correlationism, to investigate its consistency and to assess its alleged incompatibility with any form of realism. For that purpose, it takes as a research field the phenomenology, the current of thought that in a more explicit way has used the idea of correlation in the 20th century. After analyzing the role of the phenomenological correlation in the positions of Husserl and Heidegger and pointing out its transcendental character, it is concluded that, especially in the heideggerian hermeneutic phenomenology, the possibility of a realistic position is opened and some critics coming from the new realism are rejected.
