    El texto propone reabrir una pro-blemática relevante dentro del debate actual sobre el «nuevo realismo» y su distancia crítica respecto a la pers-pectiva «hermenéutica» del postmo-dernismo. Frente a la prevalencia de las interpretaciones y la construcción sociocultural de la realidad, el nuevo realismo subraya fuertemente la «ver-dad» objetiva del mundo, en su carác-ter ontológico que no puede ser cam-biado por los esquemas conceptuales de la epistemología. Pero esta «vuelta» a la verdad se aleja de la experiencia de la «certeza», que sigue considerán-dose una forma no racional y subjeti-va de acceder a la realidad. Aquí, en cambio, se trata de mostrar el vínculo inseparable entre verdad y certeza, entendida esta última como el asenti-miento indispensable que nos permite percibir lo verdadero como tal, tam-bién a través de una referencia a cier-tos momentos decisivos de la historia de la filosofía.

    The text proposes to reopen an important issue within the current debate on the «new realism» and its critical distance from the «hermeneutic» perspective of postmodernism. Against the prevalence of interpretations and socio-cultural constructions of reality, the new realism strongly emphasises the objective «truth» of the world, in its ontological character that cannot be changed by the conceptual schemes of epistemology. But this «return» to truth distances itself from the experience of «certainty», still seen as a non-rational and subjective way of accessing reality. Here, instead, we seek to show the inescapable link between truth and certainty, the latter being understood as the indispensable assent that allows us to perceive the true as such, also by referring to certain decisive moments in the history of philosophy.
