    La farsa y la parodia ha sido un recurso muy utilizado en el teatro mexicano del siglo XX.

    Jorge Ibargüengoitia y Óscar Liera lo utilizaron comúnmente en su producción literaria. A través de sus obras, se planteó con irreverencia a la Historia, a la política o a la religión, siempre con una mirada crítica y reflexiva sobre el ejercicio de estas instituciones. El atentado (1963) y Cúcara y Mácara (1977) son dos piezas que abordan este tema: el ataque a dos instituciones, el Estado y a la Iglesia. Las dos tuvieron críticas por sus temáticas y por la forma “irrespetuosa” en la que trataron a personajes “intocables”, como lo fue el tema del asesinato de Álvaro Obregón y el poco conocido ataque contra la Virgen de Guadalupe. Por ello, este análisis propone revisar y estudiar la suma de características similares y algunas opuestas que, desde nuestra óptica, representan una parte vital de la visión del mundo que tenían, ambos escritores, sobre la Historia y la sociedad en México.

    The farce and parody has been a resource widely used in 20th century Mexican theater.

    Jorge Ibargüengoitia and Óscar Liera used it commonly in their literary production. Through his works, they irreverently approached history, politics or religion, always with a critical and reflective look at the exercise of these institutions. El atentado (1963) and Cúcara and Mácara (1977) are two pieces that address this issue: the attack on two institutions, the State and the Church. Both were criticized for their themes and for the “irrespectful” form in which they treated “intocable” characters, such as the subject of the murder of Álvaro Obregón and the little-known attack on the Virgin of Guadalupe. This analysis therefore proposes to review and study the sum of similar characteristics and some opposites that, from our point of view, represent a vital part of the world view that both writers had on history and society in Mexico.
