Un breve análisis al concepto “Deseo” en Epicuro, desde una perspectiva marxista

    Unos de los principales y arduos retos de las sociedades capitalistas, es la construcción y el desarrollo de los principios éticos, los cuales alcancen la felicidad. En tal tarea, hay un problema que se hace cada vez latente, esto es, que se contempla una lucha antagónica entre el deseo y el placer. La dificultad tiene presencia al momento de ejercer la toma de conciencia de los actos y prácticas de consumo o producción de necesidades del sujeto que impactan en el interés. En el presente trabajo se reflexiona que, ante el bombardeo mercantil, no hay espacio para alcanzar la Ataraxia (imperturbabilidad) en el sentido del epicureísmo. Para lograr hacer una diferencia entre lo sensato y el interés es menester entender: 1) como se hacen presentes las relaciones personales en las sociedades de consumo contemporáneas y 2) comprender el Hábito desde la praxis —esto partiendo de la perspectiva de Marx—, pues lograría establecer que el interés no responda a los deseos vanos que solo perturban al individuo, sino a los gozos que conducen a la Ataraxia.

    One of the main and arduous challenges of capitalist societies, is the construction and development of ethical principles, which achieve happiness. However, in such a task there is a problem that becomes more and more latent, that is, an antagonistic struggle between desire and pleasure is contemplated. The difficulty is present at the moment of becoming aware of the acts and practices of consumption or production of the subject's needs that have an impact on interest. This paper reflects that in the face of the commercial bombardment there is no space to reach the Ataraxia (imperturbability) in the sense of epicureanism. In order to make a difference between the sensible and the interest it is necessary to understand: 1) how personal relationships are present in contemporary consumer society and 2) to understand the Habit from the praxis -this starting from Marx's perspective-, because it would establish that the interest does not respond to vain desires that only disturb the individual, but to the joys that lead to Ataraxia.
