  • When teaching using FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), it is recommended to focus, if it were possible, the great amount of practical case studies and examples to the specific domain of the career that includes the taught subject.

    This paper describes the development of a mobile communication based control system that covers the main knowledge required in a telematics engineering discipline. It uses the main theoretical concepts discussed in weekly lectures.
