Resumen de Libertad y neurociencia: una aproximación neurofilosófica

En la reflexión actual, la defensa filosófica de la libertad humana impli-ca a veces una crítica de la neurocien-cia en la que ésta viene interpretada como una pretendida unidad de sen-tido, atribuyéndosele una índole de-terminista. En el presente artículo se desbrozan estos supuestos para mos-trar cómo se trata de interpretaciones que no se pueden atribuir sin más a la neurociencia en cuanto tal. Para ello se aborda una triple perspectiva: el punto de vista historiográfico, la co-herencia argumentativa intrateórica y la relación interteórica entre ciencia natural y filosofía.

In current reflexion, the philoso- phical arguing for human freedom often involves criticism of neuro- science, as it is supposed to be a unity of sense and is characterised in a deterministic way. In this paper I analyse these suppositions to show their reality as an interpretation which cannot be attributed to neuroscience as a whole. A triple perspective is unfolded: from the historiographical point of view, from the intratheoretical argumentative coherence and from the intertheoretical relationship between natural science and philosophy.
