  • Resumen
    • This paper analyses inflatable membrane gas holders' wind effect under the exponential wind speed profile flow. The internal gas is considered as ideal gas, while the external air is considered as an incompressible fluid. A partitioned scheme is used for this simulation, namely the structure domain and fluid domain were simulated by the commercial software FLUENT and ABAQUS respectively, and the coupling between the fluid and structure is accomplished by use of a method with real-time transmission between fluid dynamic loads and structure response data based on the commercial software MpCCI. Results show that structural unstability occurs when considering the effect of fluid-structure interaction(FSI) under certain wind speed, but the structure is stable when not considering this effect. The inflatable membrane gas holder structure has obvious aero-elastic effects under wind loads, therefore fluid-structure interaction should be considered during the wind-induced vibration analysis.
