Stable Verbal-Nominal Collocations of the Russian Language: Problems of Studying and Descriptions

Resumen
This article defines the terms stability, stable verbal-nominal collocations, and also provides the differential features of the last ones. The problems of studying stable verbal-nominal combinations in synchrony and diachrony are considered: the features of the representation of such combinations in dictionaries are analyzed, the valence of the verbal and nominal components of the combination is discussed, different opinions about the semantic groups of verbs, that are included in the stable combinations are given, the essentiality of identifying the features of the usage of stable collocations in texts of different styles and genres is justified.
It is emphasised, that many factors should be taken into account while studying stable combinations, in particular, the reasons for the occurrence of such collocations.
