    Els revoltats, durant la Guerra Civil espanyola, van tenir capacitat per crear una xarxa d’informació que va alimentar una base de dades de possibles i teòrics objectius militars que els bombardeigs havien de colpir (amb total menyspreu per la vida de la població civil a la rereguarda). Molts d’aquests teòrics objectius varen identificar-se a l’Alt Empordà, territori estratègic, fet que, lluny de justificar els bombardeigs patits, potser sí que ens ajuda a entendre de la manera més aproximada possible, què va passar i per què va passar.

    The insurgents, during the Civil War, had the ability to create an information network that fed a database of possible and theoretical military targets that the bombings were to hit (with total contempt for the lives of the civilian population in the rearguard). Many of these theoretical objectives were identified in the Alt Empordà, a strategic territory, a fact that, far from justifying the bombings suffered, may help us to understand as closely as possible, what and why happened.
