El nacimiento de la fotografía en 1839 marcó el inicio de una nueva concepción artística basada en la captura de imágenes reales sobre un soporte físico. En el presente artículo analizaremos cómo ya desde los inicios, los primeros fotógrafos fijaron su mirada en el cuerpo desnudo, siguiendo una especie de ritual que ha perdurado hasta nuestros días. En ese contexto, examinaremos la cosificación de la mujer dentro de los tres grandes grupos de fotografías de desnudos que existen: antropológicas, eróticas y pornográficas.
The birth of photography in 1839 marked the beginning of a new artistic conception based on the capture of real images on a physical medium. In this article we will analyze how, from the beginning, the first photographers fixed their gaze on the naked body, following a kind of ritual that has lasted to this day. In this context, we will examine the objectification of women within the three large groups of nude photographs that exist: anthropological, erotic and pornographic.
