Resumen de El itinerario reflexivo: de la desazón disciplinar a los nuevos réditos del quehacer sociológico

Las diferentes implicaciones del hombre de ciencia en su pretensión por dar cuenta del contexto que le rodea y al cual pertenece, ha dado paso a una racionalidad ya no como certeza de la representación sino como evidencia de su instalación. De ahí que este artículo busque dar cuenta del oficio del sociólogo, asumiendo los nuevos desafíos disciplinares a partir del abordaje de un itinerario cimentado en la noción de reflexividad como actitud creativa, revolucionaria y polémica. Es así como se intenta esclarecer las exigencias, apuestas y potencialidades de la reflexividad sociológica, donde el sujeto se instala en la realidad que emprende y (auto)reflexiona de manera concomitante mientras reflexiona sobre otros, convirtiéndose también en objeto de su propia observación; entendiendo además que el acontecimiento abstraído como hecho objetual está en íntima relación desde dónde, cómo y para qué observa. En consecuencia, reconoce que no existe un universo totalmente determinista, debiendo mantener una actitud vital y una disposición disciplinar para devolverle la viveza, resonancia y profundidad al mundo social.

The different implications of the man of science in his claim to account for the context that surrounds him and to which he belongs has given way to rationality no longer as a certainty of representation but as evidence of its installation. Hence, this article seeks to account for the profession of the sociologist, assuming the new disciplinary challenges from the approach of an itinerary based on the notion of reflexivity as a creative, revolutionary, and controversial attitude. This is how an attempt is made to clarify the demands, stakes, and potentialities of sociological reflexivity, where the subject is installed in the reality that he undertakes and (self) reflects concomitantly while reflecting on others, also becoming the object of his own observation; understanding also that the event abstracted as an objectual fact is closely related from where, how and for what it observes. Consequently, it recognizes that there is no deterministic universe, having to maintain a vital attitude and a disciplinary disposition to restore liveliness, resonance, and depth to the social world.
