    El presente trabajo aborda las contradicciones sociales que emergen en la labor educativa del docente militar, partiendo de la práctica educativa en las instituciones docentes militares de Nivel Superior, pues en ellas se concibe a dicha labor como la actividad principal a desarrollar; sin embargo, se evidencian insuficiencias que radican en lo esencial en el predominio de los aspectos cognitivos en detrimento de los afectivos. Optimizar la actuación del docente militar constituye un reto en la actualidad, principalmente en lo referente a su trabajo educativo, en tanto contribuiría al desarrollo integral y multifacético de la personalidad de sus educandos y con ello al de la sociedad; es por ello que valorar las disímiles contradicciones sociales existentes en el proceso educativo militar, tomando en consideración sus diversos caracteres y la influencia que ejercen en el desarrollo de la labor educativa de sus docentes, constituye el objetivo del presente trabajo.

    The present article is about the social contradictions that emerge in the educational work of the military teacher, which developed from the educational practice in the military institutions of higher level, because in them is conceived to the educational work as a central activity to develop; however, inadequacies are evidenced and reside essentially in the prevalence of cognitive aspects in detriment of emotional aspects. To optimize the performance of the military teachers is a challenge today, especially regarding their educational work, because they will contribute to develop the personality of the cadets with integral and multifaceted character and to develop the society at the same time. For this reason, the objective of this research is to value the main social contradictions in the educational military process, taking their diverse characters and its influence in the development of the educational work of the military teachers.
