Reflexión sobre las condiciones concretas y objetivas de las escuelas brasileñas (primaria y secundaria) para seguir la evolución acelerada de los nuevos medios de comunicación y tecnologías que están presentes en el mundo contemporáneo. Describiendo información relacionada con la infraestructura de la gran mayoría de las escuelas y un análisis sobre la situación de los maestros brasileños, nosotros intentamos revelar las contradicciones y los desafíos que hay que superar en la esfera de la enseñanza y lectura. El texto contiene chistes y poemas con la intención de dar más objetividad a las tesis y para alegrar un poco el proceso del diálogo con el público o los posibles lectores del texto.

Reflection about the concrete and objective conditions of the Brazilian schools (primary and secondary) to follow the accelerated evolution of the new media and technologies of communication which are present the contemporary world. Describing information related to the infrastructure of the great majority of the schools and an analysis about the Brazilian teachers’ situation, we try to reveal the contradictions and the challenges to be overcome in the sphere of the teaching and reading. The text also presents jokes and poems in the intention of giving more objectivity to the theses and to cheer a little the dialogue with the audience or possible readers of the paper.
