Resumen de Pensar la religión desde la postsecularidad

El estudio que presentamos es una reflexión personal sobre la posibilidad de pensar la religión en el presente. La tesis consiste en que la religión está presente hoy, pero la pensamos desde paradigmas que conviven y que a la vez están caducos: el secularismo de la modernidad y el postsecularismo de la posmodernidad. La crisis que con frecuencia se utiliza para infundir pesimismo y malestar también sirve para mostrar que la era post- es insuficiente para expresar el momento actual, y quizá esta es la fuente de la auténtica crisis de pensamiento.

The present paper is a personal and philosophical reflexion about the possibility of thinking religion today. The thesis maintains that religion is present and alive among us, but it is thought from present and simultaneously expired paradigms: secularism of modernity and post-secularism of postmodernity. This crisis, frequently used to show a pessimist picture of the reality, can also be used to show that the post- era is not enough to express the present moment. And maybe this is the source of the real crisis of thought.
