    El presente trabajo persigue dos objetivos. En primer lugar, se propone volver a pensar el complejo marco metodológico de la teoría de campos de Pierre Bourdieu a través de la mirada de dos pensadores contemporáneos suyos pero supuestamente incompatibles con él: Gilles Deleuze y Michel Foucault. Del encuentro de esos autores surge otra forma de concebir el campo, una mirada más abstracta con la que se busca, en la segunda parte, hacer algunas propuestas que permitan pensar el caso urgente de la literatura mundial en el contexto de dicha teoría. Al mismo tiempo, se citan y se discuten las ideas de otros investigadores que han ensayado aproximaciones similares.

    This essay has two objectives. On the one hand, it suggests that the complex set of concepts of Bourdieu’s field theory could be reshaped by the ideas of two of his contemporaries, Gilles Deleuze and Michel Foucault, even if the works of the two philosophers have been historically considered antagonistic to those of the sociologist. The gathering of these three authors leads us to a new concept of the field, to a broader perception that seeks, in the second part of this text, to suggest some ideas through which we can rethink the urgent case of World Literature in the context of that theory. Besides, other scholars’ ideas about the possibility of a new field theory are cited and discussed.
