    El canon de la literatura dramática gallega contemporánea prescinde con no poca frecuencia de la ingente producción textual centrada en la reinterpretación y reelaboración de los clásicos grecolatinos, una tendencia temática que se halla en el repertorio dramático gallego desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX hasta el momento actual. En el presente artículo se procederá al examen y análisis de las circunstancias en las que se produce el contacto entre la tradición clásica y el teatro gallego, cómo y en qué condiciones los distintos dramaturgos se ven influidos por esta tradición y reinterpretan su legado, así como la problemática inclusión de sus resultados en el canon del teatro gallego. El objetivo de este trabajo es avanzar una propuesta de ampliación y reconsideración del canon actual, motivo por el cual se tendrá en cuenta en el análisis el marco de la singular y muy compleja evolución diacrónica del conjunto del sistema teatral gallego, cuya situación históricamente precaria y marginal influye notablemente en esta cuestión.

    The canon of contemporary Galician dramatic literature often dispenses with the enormous textual production that focuses on the reinterpretation and re-elaboration of the Greco-Latin classics, a thematic trend that first entered the Galician dramatic repertoire in the second half of the 20th century and that largely continues to this day. On the one hand, this article examines the circumstances in which the contact between the classical tradition and Galician theater occurs, as well as how, and under what conditions, are the different playwrights influenced by this tradition and how they have reinterpreted this legacy in the most various literary contributions. On the other hand, this project also analyses the problematic inclusion of these varied results in the canon of Galician drama, and tries to advance a proposal for change and/or expansion. These issues are placed within the framework of the unique and complex diachronic evolution of the entire Galician theatrical system, whose historically precarious and marginal situation has had a significant impact on these matters.
