    From an interdisciplinary perspective, this paper will focus on the research topic of the kiss in the Llibre de les dones (1396) by Francesc Eiximenis and in its Castilian translation (1st half of the 15th century). The union between literature and linguistics allows us to combine a philological study on the kiss as it appears in this treatise on women with a morphosemantic reflection on the same topic. Hence, beyond its presence as an object of the didactic and moral speech, the kiss or the kissing act hosts a diversity of meanings and contrasting particularities depending on the context.

    Depuis une perspective interdisciplinaire, cet article aborde la thématique du baiser dans le Llibre de les dones (1396) de Francesc Eiximenis. L’osmose entre la littérature et la linguistique permet d’allier une étude littéraire du baiser tel qu’il apparaît dans ce traité sur les femmes à une réflexion morphosémantique autour de ce même thème. Outre sa présence comme objet du discours didactico-moral, le baiser ou le fait d’embrasser présente, de fait, une diversité de significations et de particularités en contraste en fonction du contexte.
