Nuevos aportes al léxico del siglo XVII desde documentación americana

    Partiendo de un manuscrito encontrado entre los legajos recopilados por el Marqués del Risco, en el que se trata de dar unas recomendaciones previas al viaje al Perú del virrey en ese momento, el Conde de Chinchón, se estudiará el léxico más llamativo de este. Debido a su vinculación con América, se analizarán las diferencias en las definiciones entre la Península y el continente, pero también otros extranjerismos como arabismos, galicismos e italianismos. Así mismo, se realizará una clasificación semántica del léxico, que servirá incluso para demostrar el nivel social del destinatario del texto. Dado que muchas de las voces analizadas apenas cuentan con ejemplos en los corpus consultados, el manuscrito cuenta con gran valor para el ámbito léxico.

    Starting from a manuscript found among the files compiled by the Marqués del Risco, in which some instructions are given to the Peru viceroy, the Count of Chinchón, prior to his trip to the region, we will study the most noteworthy lexicon. Due to the document’s connection with America, we will analyse the differences in the definitions between the Peninsula and the continent, but also some other foreign words, like Arabisms, Gallicisms and Italianisms. Likewise, we will introduce a semantic classification of the lexicon, which will even demonstrate the recipient’s social level. Since many of the analysed words barely present examples in the consulted corpora, the manuscript has great value for the lexical field.
