    La historia de la espiritualidad en la Compañía de Jesús va enriqueciéndose a lo largo del tiempo, gracias a los numerosos estudios que se están realizando. Sin embargo, uno de sus autores, el P. Antonio Cordeses, aún tiene algunas de sus obras sin publicar en castellano, como es el Itinerario de la perfección, del que si existe unas ediciones de la época en italiano. En el presente trabajo traemos, con su transcripción, un fragmento de la mencionada obra, la correspondiente a la séptimo y última jornada, y fragmento sobre la oración afectiva. Dicho texto nos permite seguir conociendo a este autor, que fue censurado en su época, y conocer de primera mano su pensamiento sobre la oración y la forma de intentar unirse con Dios por medio de ella.

    The history of the spirituality in the Society of Jesus goes on enriching itself along the times, thanks to the numerous studies that are being carried out. However, one of its authors, Fr. Antonio Cordeses, still has some of his works without being published in Castilian, as it is the case of the Itinerario de la perfección, of which there are some editions of that time in Italian. In the present work we are bringing, with its transcription, a fragment of the said work, the one that corresponds to the seventh and last stage, and a fragment about the affective prayer. This text allows us to go on knowing this author, who was censored in his epoch, and to know at first hand his thought about prayer and the way of trying to unite oneself with God by the means of prayer.
