    Al vivir el ser humano en un lugar fijo, construyó ciertos espacios para cubrir sus necesidades, por lo que buscó emplear recursos naturales a su alcance, como adobe, madera, piedras, tierra y variados elementos vegetales y aún animales con técnicas sencillas. Este tipo de construcción es primigenia de la humanidad y en su composición y forma manifiesta las necesidades de supervivencia básicas del ser humano, se acopla a su entorno y a la cultura a la que pertenece. Sus técnicas de construcción se fueron ajustando a los materiales disponibles, a la adaptación de la mano de obra y a las herramientas a su alcance y, por otro lado, a los desastres naturales como inundaciones, incendios o sismos que los forzaron a adecuarse.

    En la actualidad se le está dando importancia a las edificaciones vernáculas y son objeto de estudio; de tal manera que muchos arquitectos contemporáneos están retomando el concepto con el fin de recuperar los valores arquitectónicos de una región y construir aprovechando los recursos disponibles, adaptándose al medio físico.

    En este trabajo se pretende profundizar en el concepto de arquitectura vernácula y los elementos que la conforman, de forma que se pueda identificar las características vernáculas que han influido en la arquitectura contemporánea de algunos viñedos en México.

    By living the human being in a fixed place, he built certain spaces to meet his needs, so he sought to use natural resources within his reach, such as adobe, wood, stones, earth and various plant and even animal elements with simple techniques. This type of construction is primitive for humanity and in its composition and form it manifests the basic survival needs of the human being, it is coupled to its environment and the culture to which it belongs.

    Their construction techniques were adjusted to the available materials, the adaptation of the workforce and the tools at their disposal, and on the other hand, to natural disasters such as floods, fires or earthquakes that forced them to adapt. At present, importance is being given to vernacular buildings and they are the object of study; in such a way that many contemporary architects are taking up the concept in order to recover the architectural values of a region and build taking advantage of available resources, adapting to the physical environment.

    This work aims to delve into the concept of vernacular architecture and the elements that make it up, so that we can identify the vernacular characteristics that have influenced the contemporary architecture of some vineyards in Mexico.
