Resumen de El mito de Salomé: (re)lecturas

  Uno de los rostros que dieron visibilidad al arquetipo de la femme fatale, de tan amplio desarrollo en la etapa finisecular, es el de Salomé, la princesa judía que solicitó al tetrarca Herodes -a instancia de Herodías, su madre-, la cabeza del Bautista. La literatura y las artes visuales, sobre todo a finales del XIX y comienzos del XX, pusieron un énfasis especial en el tratamiento de este mito bíblico. A partir del relato de los Evangelios (S. Mateo, S. Marcos, S. Lucas), que funciona como hipotexto, se han sucedido numerosas elaboraciones, literarias y plásticas, que permiten analizar la trayectoria del mito y apreciar las alteraciones de su imagen. Para esta comunicación se ha seleccionado un corpus mínimo, en función del tiempo disponible, en que se analizan algunos hipotextos (Flaubert, Huysmans, Lourdes Ortiz), y se proponen algunas actividades encaminadas al tratamiento didáctico en las aulas.   One of the faces that gave visibility to the femme fatale archetype, widely spread, was Salomé’s, the Jewish princess who asked the Tetrach Herod for Baptist’s head, at the request of her mother Herodias. Literature and visual arts, at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, highlited this biblical myth. Starting from the story of the Gospels (Saint Mathew, Saint Mark, Saint Luke) functioning as hypotext, many plastic and literary works have been produced. These allow us to analyze the path of the myth and to see the changes of its image. In this paper a reduced corpus has been selected, in it some hypertexts (Flaubert, Huysmans, Lourdes Ortiz) are analyzed and some activities, aimed to a didactic exploitation in the classroom, are suggested. As theoretical framework, the paradigm of the comparative analysis and the theory of reception is put forward
