    La evolución tecnológica está poniendo frente a nosotros la oportunidad de abordar iniciativas tradicionales desde otras perspectivas, como el tratamiento y gestión de usos de suelo industrial. Actualmente nos enfrentamos a importantes retos en materia socioeconómica y medioambiental que, por primera vez, están confluyendo en objetivos comunes para organismos públicos y privados, a nivel nacional pero también internacional. La industrialización y reindustrialización inteligentes abren una gran puerta hacia la recuperación, desarrollo, prosperidad y resi-liencia de los territorios desde una óptica sostenible. Una vez más la tecnología geoespacial ofrece innovadoras respuestas a estos retos. Unas respuestas basadas, entre otras cosas, en el Gemelo Digital Geoespacial y renovando la forma en la que concebimos los usos del suelo industrial

    The fast evolution of technology is granting us the opportunity to face old problems with new solutions, such is the case of the management of industrial land. We have to address very cha-llenging socioeconomic and environmental issues that, for the very first time, are merging public and private sector goals – not only nationwide, but on an international level. Smart industriali-zation and reindustrialization bring huge opportunities when it comes to the recovery, development, prosperity and resilience of communities, from a sustainable perspective. Geospatial tech-nology once again offers innovative answers to those challenges; answers based upon – among other solutions – the Geo-Digital Twin, reimaging the way we think about the uses of industrial land
