  Andreu Muntaner i Darder, Honorary President of the Society of Natural History of the Balearic Islands and one of its founders in 1954, has become a key piece in the Natural History and graphic memory of our Islands. Thus, his knowledge of Geology and Hydrogeology, his studies of the Quaternary, his archive of graphic documents and his paleontological collection have served and are useful to researchers from very different fields. He has participated in several exhibitions and has been the protagonist of several documentaries.

  Andreu Muntaner i Darder, President d’Honor de la Societat d’Història Natural de les Balears i un del seus fundadors l’any 1954, ha esdevingut una peça clau en la Història Natural i en la memòria gràfica de les nostres Illes. Així els seus coneixements de Geologia i Hidrogeologia, els seus estudis del Quaternari, el seu arxiu de documents gràfics i la seva col·lecció paleontològica han servit i són d’utilitat a investigadors de camps molt diversos. Ha participat a diverses exposicions i ha estat protagonista de diversos documentals.
