El testimonio British Library (BL), Egerton Ms. 620, fols. 55r-57r recoge la memoria de la visita realizada en 1515 al monasterio de Santa María de Guadalupe por un peregrino anónimo, probablemente de origen castellano y vinculado al ámbito comercial flamenco. El presente trabajo incluye la edición completa de la relación, precedida de un estudio introductorio, en el que se aborda la autoría y cronología del testimonio, los perfiles de la memoria dentro de los relatos de viaje y su papel para el conocimiento del santuario, en el marco del estudio de las estrategias de promoción religiosa desarrolladas por el santuario como centro de peregrinación.

The testimony British Library (BL), Egerton Ms. 620, fols. 55r-57r collects the memory of the visit made in 1515 to the monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe by an anonymous pilgrim, probably of Castilian origin and linked to the Flemish commercial sphere. The present work includes the complete edition of the account, preceded by an introductory study, which addresses the authorship and chronology of the testimony, the profiles of the memory within travel stories and their role for the understanding of the sanctuary, in the framework of the study of the religious promotion strategies developed by the sanctuary as a pilgrimage site.
