    Si bien España es uno de los Estados más antiguos de Europa, el problema de su configuración territorial ha sido siempre una asignatura pendiente, constante a lo largo de su historia; así lo demostraría cualquier análisis jurídico político que se hiciera. De manera que nuestra historia nos enseña una sucesiva implantación de fórmulas que no fueron duraderas ni pacíficas a la hora de resolver la integración de los territorios que componen el Estado español.

    Although Spain is one of the oldest States in Europe, the problem of its territorial configuration has always been a pending issue, constant throughout its history. This is shown by any legal and political analysis. In such a way that our history teaches us a successive implementation of formulas that were not durable nor peaceful to the hour of resolve the integration of the territories that make up the Spanish State.
