Resumen de Revisión de perspectivas del docente y el estudiante universitario frente a Moodle (2009-2019)

Moodle es la plataforma para el aprendizaje más popular en el sistema universitario. En este artículo se expone una revisión bibliográfica (en-foque documental-descriptiva) con el objetivo de determinar las características de la plataforma Moodle para comprobar las problemáticas de su uso como herramienta didáctica. Se analizaron los siguientes ítems desde la perspectiva del docente y el estudiante: realidad ante la tecnología educativa, capacidad del agente educativo, resultados previos y reacciones ante Moodle. El análisis permitió definir categorías útiles para explorar vías alternativas para un futuro que responda al escenario contemporáneo, relacionadas con el fomento del aprendizaje con móviles o el uso de redes sociales.

Moodle is the most popular online learning platform within the university system. This article presents a bibliographic review (with a documentary-descriptive approach) aimed at determining the characteristics of the Moodle platform and point out its problems as a teaching tool. The following items were analyzed from the perspective of both the teacher and the student: reality in the face of educational technology, capacity of the educational agent, previous results and reactions to Moodle. The analysis allowed us to define useful categories to explore alternative ways to face a future that corresponds to the contemporary scenario, in regard to the promotion of learning through smartphones and social networks.
