    En la religiosidad del s. XVII hay pervivencias y creencias ancestrales y aunque en dicho período también se produce un fenómeno de transformación del hecho religioso, debido a la celebración del decimonoveno cónclave de la Iglesia Católica: Concilio de Trento (1545 y 1563), las antiguas costumbres y creencias siguen manteniéndose en el pueblo llano, en las hidalguías y en las élites aristocráticas. Un buen ejemplo son las numerosos Patronazgos, Capellanías, Memorias, Aniversarios, etc., que se fundan en dicho período; dedicando, asimismo, espacios para el culto religioso en las casas, dotándolos de lo necesario para celebrar todo lo relativo a la manifestaciones de fe de la familia.

    In the religiosity of the s. XVII there are survivals and ancestral beliefs and although in this period there is also a phenomenon of transformation of the religious fact, due to the celebration of the nineteenth conclave of the Catholic Church: Council of Trent (1545 and 1563, the old customs and beliefs continue to be maintained in the common people and the nobility and aristocratic elites. A good example is the numerous Patronages, Chaplains, Memories, Anniversaries, etc., that are founded in that period; dedicating, also, spaces for religious worship in the houses, providing them with what is necessary to celebrate everything related to the manifestation of faith of the family.
