    La Biblioteca Histórica de Santa Cruz de la Universidad de Valladolid conserva algunos manuscritos latinos que contienen sentencias de autores clásicos griegos y latinos. Son códices de diferente naturaleza tanto por la fecha en la que se compilaron como por su estructura y contenido. Por otra parte, son más abundantes en el fondo antiguo de la biblioteca los ejemplares de antologías y polianteas impresas. El trabajo atiende a los testimonios de ambos tipos, analizando sus características y valorando los rasgos más peculiares.

    The Historical Library of Santa Cruz at the University of Valladolid preserves some Latin manuscripts containing sentences of classical Greek and Latin authors. They are codices of a different nature both by the date they were compiled and by their structure and content. On the other hand, the copies of printed anthologies and polyanthea are more abundant in the old library collection. The paper studies the testimonies of both types, analyzing their characteristics and valuing the most peculiar features.
